It makes sense that she's drenched. The Bismarck is at the bottom of the Atlantic ocean.

She was run down by torpedo planes. Her rudder was disabled by a lucky torpedo and she was bombarded into submission by English battleships. They ended up shelling the Bismarck at point blank range until what little of her crew that were still alive abandoned and unsuccessfully attempted to scuttle her. After her crew abandoned her, she finally went down after several torpedo salvos from English ships.

The English were out for blood for the sinking of the Hood. There were only 3 survivors of the Hood and 114 of the Bismarck. The hood had a crew of around 1,400 and the Bismarck over 2,200.
