Actually, Anon2, it appears that the Gamecube game was considered part of the whole Battle Network canon. They just didn't go with using any of the characters again apart from giving them appearances in the anime. Still agree that a repeat of the Zero and Colonel rivalry would've been awesome.

I would have liked to have seen Zero.EXE in a Battle network game also O.O they give us the Z-Saver chip in 4 and 5 but o.o they could have easily found a way to squeeze him in to BN4 i think or had him as a secret boss somewhere it sucks that they didnt
