@Psajdak: Seems like you got stuck in the earlier tomes of this history, well news for you, Naruto WAS in love with Sakura in his teen years but he as MATURED much since then (an alien concept to you, I know) and the main reason why naruto chased after Sasuke was because a stupid promise he did make to Sakura when he was younger because he cared for her fellings and already accepted that Sakura loved Sasuke even then, but he has matured since his childish crush on Sakura and married Hinata, also is thanks to him that Sasusaku is even possible because he has done even the impossible for theirs both selfish sake's (Sakura an Sasuke) in accomplish his promise to Sakura and briging back that traitor, due he belives in true frienship on both his teammates and that is what truly makes him better than them.

Unlike you, I truly don't care about any pairing whatsoever but we must be honest here. Any girl, and I mean any, even filler girls, would've better choice for Naruto that bully Sakura.

We already know that hinata was a very boring character and naruto collapsed ( he hyperventilated ) thinking about sasuke.
But, sakura is also sometimes boring and sasuke tire us with his badass attitude .
objectively, they are all very stereotypical characters.

well, wasn't the whole Sakura thing just a crush? And even then, wasn't it only done because of him competing with Sasuke? Kishi has even outright stated that Sakura was Naruto's first crush, but Hinata was the first girl he came to love.
