What would happen if her actions caused her beloved husband to resent her? Like, what if she dominated and pushed him so far he couldn't forgive her unless she changed?

Would it break her heart to know he hated her? Even if she can't be tamed, would the realization that her actions were making things worse at least calm her down?

I know I am overthinking this, but I like asking these questions and seeing what others think
