The LoZ universe is one entirely without gradient or nuance when it comes to good and evil, which I'd to be expected given that it's a kid's game. The idea here is that the only reason Ganondorf could influence her at all was because she originally wasn't pure good. Only a little bit of that evil was enough to let her get influenced. So it's a bit of a catch 22, you never get to have the original combined version because if you did she would be able to get influenced again and it would fuck everyone over again.
