There are a few that are designed to convert to marching band use with an extra leadpipe, similar to the convertible tubas that can be held sort of like contrabass bugles.

However, they generally don't make four valve compensating euphoniums that way, so you're right that there's not really a need to hold it rocket-launcher style.
