To what, mislead people into finding the wrong colored hair? If I search for blonde hair I expect the hair to be blonde. Tagging yellow hair as blonde will only stop people from finding the hair color they want.
Not to mention, you only seem to do this with hair. Why aren't yellow and blonde eyes tagged the same? Or yellow and blonde fur? Or yellow and blonde anything else? Why do it just for hair?

There's no such thing as "pink eyes" either but that doesn't stop people from drawing them.
If a cat had blonde fur, I would call it a blonde cat. Fur is a type of hair anyway so you really can't argue against that one.
If a character had blonde eyes, I would still call them blonde. There's no sense in switching between 2 different color names just because the color is on a particular thing. This is like when people call orange hair red. It's not red, it's orange, but people still use the wrong name for it anyway and it's stupid.
