Little known fact and a common misunderstanding; but Karlslander's wouldn't salute this way since Karlsland is culturally based off of WW1 Imperial Germany if it were transplanted into the 1940's.... not to mention that Nazi's don't exist in strike witches due to historical, cultural and geopolitical reasons.

I mean heck the Karlsland empire's battle flag is a dead-ringer for WW1 German Empires battle flag.
