Butchered by the censors? You are aware that Japan censors things more than the US, right? Just look at something like No More Heroes in the US and No More Heroes in Japan. That's the most blatant example I can think of. Also consider that both games are rated for Mature/Adult audiences, so there's that.

@Anon4, No More Heroes US was made after the japanese and european version, and got the actual blood because the creators thought it would sell better in the US that way.
The JP/EU version is the intended version of the game.

Censoring is good because they can remove all that weird japonse shit and reveal the decent game inside. Japonse shit in games ruins them.

Just look at Deadly Premonition- good when it's American at the beginning. Bad when its japonse at the end.
