The writer for HSotD is pretty infamous for not finishing anything he starts.
Triage is written by the artist. So I don't think it'll be unfinished.

Volume 10 of the manga came out last month. It's still going.
It's probably that nobody is scanlating it. Yen Press is releasing it over here though.

Same artist doesn't mean same writer.
Sato Shouji was HOTD's artist but he did not write it.
He did, however, write and draw Triage X.
How do people still not know this?

Wow! This GIF is Great! Normally I only like the Open Blouse with a Bounce GIFs!
(And don't get me wrong, I still think this would benefit 100% if it were a Bouncy Unveiling!)
But everything else comes together good enough to make this a Beautiful GIF!
The Uniform! The Big Breasts! The Surprised look on her face! Her Blushing cheeks! That beauty mark!

HSotD needed a separate, dedicated writer?
...Really?

It's not that uncommon of a thing for there to be a writer/artist team.
Writers sometimes look for good artists to work with. Just so happened his own brother was an artist himself.
