False. Machinedramon (or Mugendramon) is unrelated to MetalGreymon except for the similar looking parts. Its bio states it is a pure machine built from parts taken from multiple cyborg digimon, including MetalGreymon, Gigadramon, MetalMamemon, and Andromon.
