I haven't watched any of the series yet, I'll get around to it eventually, but I have seen a lot of fight scenes on youtube, and the Precure series actually does a pretty nice job on the fights. Sometimes a bit generic and a lot of overly girly scenes, but the action is surprisingly good.

As someone who has also see a number of fight scenes, but ALSO seen two seasons in full.. Yes, the fight scenes can be very well choreographed.
But I think the worst offenders in STAYING generic, until the very end, thus far is Yes! Precure 5. Made worse when Cure Aqua manipulated her finisher to create a hydro sword for ONE fight, and ONE only. The season after, "Yes! Precure 5 GoGo" apparently does one worse, when all 5 girls get lightsaber-esque fleurets(a kind of sword, look 'em up) as tools for unlocking a group finisher. But never using said fleurets in direct combat. GoGo is likely an improvement over it's prequel season regardless, I have yet to start it proper.
Suite Precure had some problems of it's own with genericness(but certainly less than Yes 5), but these are vastly offset by the fact I genuinely liked everyone in the cast by the end. Friend and foe alike. Plus, hard to hate Cure Beat when she uses a friggin guitar, trolls the baddies in one ep, and..her hair makes guitar sounds.
