Why does the pretty lady wash herself with her clothes on?
It is not to save water, there is plenty. I do not think it is to save time: she uses a bucket to pour water onto herself instead of kneeling under the falling water. The look on her face gives me the feeling that she is not doing this to entertain others.
If she intended to shrink her clothes to a very tight fit, it would make more sense to begin the process with less loose fabric.
The nature in the background is beautifully portrayed, the scene is serene. The artist deserves merit. I have attempted to draw scenery, and the quality falls short of this. The graphic arts are just too perplexing. Better that I devote myself to study the other great mystery of the universe: women.
