Please tell me you're not humoring anon5. They're obviously trying to drum up some stupid debate here. More than likely they're either one of the P4D/P4 haters, or some P1/P2 fan who has a chip on their shoulder about P3/P4, or just a Persona hater in general.

That's such a stupid question too-- assuming the only reason someone finds a character to be attractive is if they are a fan of the series. It has nothing to do with their name or the place they came from, you find someone attractive simply because you think they're attractive.

I think someone just has something against the fans.

On this site that is like asking "If you never heard of this character's name or the anime/manga/video game/etc... would you have still found this person attractive?" Most people don't need to know the source to find a character appealing. If the character checks all your boxes then what does it matter?

To me it sounds like this is you wanting to cause tension with Persona fans because you think their love of the series makes them blindly like anything or anyone from it. If anything being a fan adds to the attraction you already had. I'm sure there is some character you like whose series only made you like them more. This is no different.
