I always thought "vore" referred to being eaten whole, or in the more violent stuff, mostly whole. This shouldnt be tagged vore I think...

From wiki, definition of vore is :

content dealing with people or animals being eaten by other creatures; MOSTLY of being swallowed whole.

And from other sources, I got a "paraphilia of being eaten alive by creatures". eaten does not means being swallowed. She is actually being eaten.

Look at other images of vore tag : most of them are swallowed, sometimes whole, as you said, but not all of them.
