idk animeserf, i would want to propose before the sex. the proposal is of love, but the sex is celebratory too. proposing after sexual intimacy is likened to wanting to marry because of the quality of the sex. afterall, lovers have sex on their honeymoon, not the morning of or day before getting married.

I also agree, truly ultimate intimacy is the reward of the union... Papers be damned, I don't think two people can fully appreciate that intimacy with each other until committing themselves to each other 100%. For me, sex was great before, but nothing like after I finally married my love. Now, it is like a perfect joining of two bodies and souls, intertwining closer and closer each time. It saddens me to imagine that there are people out there who have meaningless sex their entire lives, and never get to feel that connection, that special bond that says "I want nothing more than to be with this one forever".
