Seriously so, I don't get people saying this or that character is useless, since every female and every male that's not Naruto or Sasuke are useless. Madara? Owned by a fucking Zetsu. Itachi? Lol, ninja aids. Nagato? Got talked to. Obito? I don't even remember how it went from Obito to Madara.
Kishimoto took a dump into his fanbase's mouths and they're still chewing the shit trying to distinguish what he ate that morning. The only good thing about last 300-something chapters was Guy vs Madara fight and even then just barely.

You guys really should take it easy. I've been with Naruto from the beginning, never got frustrated over the plot holes or anything, just enjoyed the ride instead of feeling like every thing I didn't like was a personal attack.

Sasori fight : she was an ordinary chuunin facing a kage-level criminal, in addition to her being a melee-range fighter facing a long-range one. Of course she'd need help at that point. Send her current self against Sasori the way he was at the time (which is his strongest), and you'll notice Sasori won't have much of a chance.
Anbu : actually she could make a good anbu agent. She would just be a support member of an anbu team rather than shine as the aggressive med-nin expert she is now. Anbu ninjas don't do just infiltration, you know. They are anonymous elite, if anything else.
Forest of Death : well she was the last one standing and had a sudden growth in mentality. before the chuunin exam Sakura was not kunoichi material, mostly because of her mentality, but that changed in the Forest of Death. Still, things like that take time and training to truely change and that's why we had to wait until Shippuden to meet Sakura as a real kunoichi.
Additionnally, who kept healing the whole alliance (dozens of thousands of people) until the arrival of Tsunade ? who allowed redeemed Obito to save Sasuke through godly remote dimensions ? who barred Kaguya (ultimate god) her escape route from the coop sealing technique ? And you call that useless...
Just because she's not a half-god reincarnation like her teammates does not mean she's useless, otherwise you'll have to label all other characters useless like Anon1 did.
As for Anon1 criticizing the whole characters, well, you have the right to dislike it, i'll give you that, but try at least to use the actual facts as your arguments. Black Zetsu was never an ordinary Zetsu, but rather was Kaguya's will made solid and sentient. Of course he got owned by B.Z. as a result, since B.Z. is technically a god, just like Kaguya herself. Not as powerful as Kaguya but still.
As Madara being useless, well if it was not for his plotting, the 5 nations would still be at war by now, instead of a world wide peace and prosperity and cooperation. Villains also have their contribution when the good guys manage to build something from their victory.
Itachi manipulated friends and foes alike and fought a final fight against his brother all while dying from his desease. And it's not aids since it's rather painful and kills directly, so it's more like cancer instead. And having a cancer HURTS. A LOT. CONTINOUSLY. Try typing on your keyboard despite having all your fingers broken and tell me if it's easy.
And in the end he managed many things that shaped the future efficiently. Some were failures and mistakes, others were successes. He's human after all, is he not ?
Nagato and Obito getting talked to is not a bad thing (or if it is you'll have to consider Zabuza getting talked to a bad thing as well. As well as fat Majin Buu, Piccolo and Vegeta.) It shows they are humans with feelings, not demonic robots that do evil for the purpose of being evil. Fanaticism has its limits in the human mind.

For the rest, Sakura is far from being useless but she is definitely a constant reminder of kishi's talent at writting.
