Just so everyone is aware, Ash has only lost 3 times in the XY series so far.

The 1st was against Viola, the 2nd was against Premiere and the 3rd was against Tierno in the summer camp. All these losses occurred in-between episodes 1-39.

Ash has an undefeated winning streak ever since episode 42. That's a total of 45 episodes to date, which featured;

-4 Gym Matches
-Several Rival Battles
-Various Trainer Battles.

Despite what people may think, this is the best portrayal of Ash we've ever gotten since the anime started. DP Ash was excellent, but XY Ash takes the cake, and hopefully the Kalos League too.

#1803418 XY17: with Sanpei and XY30: with Korrina (battles against trainers).
Pokémon Gym: Ash loses against Viola (1st time), Santalune City. Later 2do time wins and then goes undefeated through sixth gym.
Pokémon Showcase: Serena loses for the stumble of Fennekin, Coumarine City. Later she wins Dendemille Town.
Satoshi only two gym medals, Kalos League = Kalos Champion (Pokémon Master).
Serena only two Princess keys, Master Class = Kalos Queen.
