The option to bring her back was there too. I guess the author didn't feel Kurono would waste any points on resurrecting a girl who died protecting him, cared for him and was his first time. To be honest, Gantz kinda did fall apart for me by the end. Which is kind of reminiscent of the anime.

@Anonymous2 agreed, Gantz went to shit after the Vampire Samurai disappeared and it went full on Alien invasion. Idk, it just felt different, rushed, and that ending... Worse than Claymore's lol
