I'm waiting, been waiting for a while now, for the next "Hardboiled" anime to take its place at center stage.
Hopefully I won't have to wait too much longer, all these "magical girls" and "harems" are starting to make my teeth hurt

^dead man wonderland and the remake of beserk were the last i really enjoyed (not exactly hardboiled ), michiko & hatchin was close but I went in hoping for something with the same feel as Bebop. I Want something grity, kinda like Bean bandit, city hunter and skullman. I don't mind the magical girls thing since madoka (shit got crazy in there) but super powered girls, be them monsters, witches, mechanical enhanced representation of battleships, is over used in my opinion
but If you have suggestions please tell, from your reaction it sounds like you have a few

This was never released on VHS. The DVDs first came out in 2000 when DVDs where first stepping outside of the "yuppie toy" club.
