I'm probably wrong but I like to think of her as the princess you save from the first Dragon Quest game :D. Art style is somewhat reminiscent at least ^^;

It has that Dragon Quest feel, but Laura/Lora/Roora/BUTTHOUMUST has always had brown hair, plus the headpiece thingy is totally different.
