i recall a true story of a wild child, girl i think, who knew only basic words. apparently their mother died a few years before she was found. wild children have a basic understanding of picture-based concepts, but almost entirely lack an internal monologue. it is possible to domesticate such children, but they will always struggle with words because they have no primary language to base it off. it's like knowing japanese (you fucking weeb trash), but you can't remember any of it.
