It's interesting how similar 223779 and 300209 are. It seems likely to me one artist was ripping off, or parodying the other. On the other hand, I remember this one time I came upon a message board where someone was writing it was obvious that John Persons was ripping off Milo Manara, with numerous people (or sock puppets?) in agreement.

since this was posted later I would say this was an improvement if the order was reversed the other one would appear to be a ripoff
