Ever since .hack/sign these shows have gotten tedious and usually seem to forget the premise of 'stuck in a video game' so they can basically be just any other anime

So far, the only anime I've seen that does in fact emphasize the whole "being stuck in an MMO" along with all the RPG elements is Log Horizon. Not sure what else does that.
