The ominous figure in the background is Lina's older sister, Luna Inverse. In addition to having the boobs that Lina doesn't, Luna is supposedly an even MORE powerful sorcerer than her little sister.
Which is a scary thought.
Luna works as a waitress as a hobby, according to Lina.

I guess there wouldn't really be a story/series if her older sister in the background there steamrolled all opposition but still, you could have your own more self-contained stories like Goblin Slayer which doesn't involve some great cataclysmic potential end of the world scenario her sister would've already stopped before it began but instead chooses to work as a maid like how Saitama is a hero for fun.
