Actually Pitou's gender is never specifically stated so its up to viewer interpretation although the general consensus is that pitou is female as pitou has a very feminine body shape and hips. Either way, the art clearly drew pitou as a female so why try to mess with the tags

I only know about the 2011 Pitou so I might be wrong on the manga and original anime but in the 2011 anime it is definitely stated that she's a girl, not to mention noticeable tits
