One night, I went into my daughter's bedroom to kiss her goodnight. As I tucked her in, she asked me to look for monsters under her bed. I figured it wasn't much to ask for, so I got down on all fours, lifted the frills of the bed sheets and peeked into the darkness... there, under the bed, was my daughter. She looked at me with a terrified expression in her eyes and whispered, "daddy... there's someone on my bed..."
