You guys know the thing about Cubone... Eventually it will cease to exist and the only way we'll be able to get one is through Fossil Ressurection?

Cubone "always" has the skull of it's Dead mother, by that Logic the mother has to die when a New Cubone is born meaning Cubone can never have Siblings and the Marowak Population is decreasing for every Cubone born in the wild meaning the Females become scarce and harder for the males to find making it more difficult to reproduce

If a Male Marowak gets bred with a Ditto I believe the Father surrenders it's skull because Ditto doesn't have a skull to give however there are no wild Ditto in Cubone/Marowak Habitats so this is only a Theory

Either way by this logic eventually the world will Run out of Cubones and Marowak... and it will become extinct

Dude, you might be overthinking things. Pokemon like Braviary can only be males, yet their population still exists. We're talking about a game where Kangaskahn are born already having babies.

^ Actually Anon 2 may be onto something.. Pokemon Like Braviary and Tauros that can only be male usually have a counterpart Pokemon like Miltank and Mandibuzz which can only be female... But there's also the Pokedex info of Cubone to consider how Cubone wears the Skull of it's dead mother it's commonly brought up in Fan speculation how this is true for "All" Cubone because of the Pokedex also when pokemon breed the child is always whatever form the "Female" in the group was so we don't get hybrid Pokemon like half Dragonite half Charizard Pokemon born from Eggs So if the child is always the primary form of the mother regardless of what the Father was and Cubones mother always Dies then It's true Eventually they should cease to exist in the Wild it's different from when Trainer's breed Pokemon though there is no reason for the Mother to die under those circumstances so Trainers could keep the population alive that way

^ Continued - It did just occur to me to add the possibility that Female Marowak's bodies are possibly not fit for unaided Childbirth which could cause them to die if they give birth without the help of a Doctor or an Experienced Breeder which would explain how Marowak doesn't die in the Day care whenever it breeds.

by that logic, how is there a population of all-male species at all? no female = no babies of the same species. granted, ditto bypasses this usually, but something like "braviary x ditto" wouldnt happen often enough to support the population

^ Sometimes in the game the Counterparts can give birth to the other Speicies entirely Like Nidoran when Breeding a Pair of Nidoran the egg will either be a NidoranM or a NidoranF also Volbeat and Illumise do this as well even when only using 1 of them and breeding with a Ditto you can get the other one that way too I don't know if every Pokemon in those catagorys do this but there are some that simply can only mate with Ditto in order to reproduce such as the Hitmon-Trio and such and such

i think it's safe to say this debate has gone on long enough
let's just go back to saying how cute the cubone is and leave it at that

^ Conclusive thoughts: I guess we should also take into account that no one in the games actually ever sees Wild pokemon mating or giving birth even for all we know They might just randomly Spawn in certain areas regardless of whether or not a proper mate is anywhere nearby, Such as Tyrouge in Fiery Path in ORAS Maybe they get Spawned by Arceus Maybe theres some hidden Area where wild Pokemon gather to Breed in the wild like one big interspecies Orgy to arrange the Wild Pokemon with Special Egg moves in ORAS and Flying pokemon Drop off the newborns after zipping back and forth however long it took until the Eggs hatched We aren't given all the information So who knows for sure? It's just fun to speculate

Then why would Marowak be endangered?
