What's interesting in this episode is that we finally get a more in-lore explaination about why Goku stopped using the Kaioken when he became a Super Saiyan : unbalanced mind and emotion. Something he never fully fixed with his "perfect super saiyan" state (used against Perfect Cell) and which he only achieved with super saiyan god 2 "blue", apparently. And despite that, he still had to relearn how to use kaioken to compensate for the combined toll on the body from the technique and the saiyan transformation, despite having become a master at the technique on its own years prior.
