anyone think how pointless some of the usa name changes are? they change marx to xander just to avoid affiliation with karl marx, remove the n in leon to make leo, change eris to elise.....camillas the damn same though. but like they remove the u in ryouma to make ryoma or the u in kagerou to kagero.

Removing the u's is legit, in Japanese it just signifies that the 'o' is a long vowel sound but in English it changes the pronunciation to 'u'. English speakers will correctly interpret the o by itself as a long vowel sound. Some of the other changes make no sense, though.
