Well, the flipside of that attitude is that no one is forcing people to use gelbooru. Anyone who's totally married to the idea of those sorts of comments has every right to give preference to another site that has different rules.
In any case, given how quickly and reliably those comments are flagged by other users, it seems to me that the majority of gelbooru users don't have any problem with the rule at all. It's clear that you do, but I doubt the comment section of this image is the best place to address the issue to the mods. You might have better luck in the forum.
