Trying to clarify: child porn is illegal in Japan just like in any other country. However for child porn is considered photos and videos of actual real life children, not drawings. UN is trying to force Japan to include drawings and animations too.
You do realize what would be the effect, do you?

Actually (non-fictional) child porn isn't completely illegal in all countries yet, like Russia where possession is still legal, though no one talks about it. And it's funny that the UN is trying to force Japan to include drawings and animations, but they don't do that to other countries, like the U.S. and the Netherlands.
