Not lightsabers though close. Besides, we're talking about a series with magic. I don't find it difficult to believe that the katana-wielder could just channel energy into his blade to make sure it could withstand them. Or pwn him for that matter.

Regarding all of the above weapon-related chatter, a suitably enchanted weapon can indeed block/parry/deflect a lightsaber. For proof, see Soul Calibur IV opening sequence. We now return you to your regularly scheduled fapping.

I find it funny most of them don't seem to know that the one with the EM sabers is a female who is stuck looking like a nine year old. the tags should make it obvious.
