Dude, exactly the problem, the very fact you have to see it *once* is the problem.
You need to find every tag and blacklist them one by one and that is the issue, so yes there's *all* the reason to bitch about it despite me not having *any* issues with homosexuals at all.

@Jerl,
Bullshit, your service isn't free, you're getting paid for this through Patreon and adds.
Nice try to give me a reason for why you're lazy not to implement something *so* simple though. So here's another question, why the manhunt on content creatures when they remove penises from Futanari pictures and the blocking of those creators like they did something wrong hm? Still never got that answer, because there's none. Isn't that right?

You mean like a list of tags that people might want to blacklist?

By using the site, you are accepting that risk. It isn't our fault if you don't like the content on the site. If you're so sensitive that you can't stand seeing content you don't like even once, then Gelbooru probably isn't the website for you.

Bullshit, your service isn't free, you're getting paid for this through Patreon and adds.

Not a single penny from Patreon of that goes toward running the site. That all goes to paying our coder, who gets paid an hourly rate for hours worked coding the site. And that pay is for developing the site's *software*, which will be released open-source when it's finished. Everyone providing donations through Patreon is already receiving everything that they paid for: work is being done, however slowly, on the Gelbooru software.

Yes, we make money off of the ads, but you aren't paying a cent of it. If the ad providers have an issue with the paid service we're providing them, that's an entirely different thing, but so far that hasn't happened. We've dropped ad providers several times for similar reasons in the past.

Nice try to give me a reason for why you're lazy not to implement something *so* simple though.

Well, it's already implemented. I don't know what to say. It's pretty simple to use, too. We could probably use better help pages to explain how to do stuff, including how to use the blacklist - and that's something we're actually working on. But we aren't going to implement a whole new feature which is essentially the same thing just because some people can't be bothered to learn how to use the features that already exist.

@Floater: Something like that's certainly doable. Given that we're planning on moving our help pages to wiki pages, that leaves a good opportunity to make such a list, and even provide a link to it on the account options page. In fact, if someone wants to compile such lists, I wouldn't mind creating a howto:blacklist page that contains a tutorial for using the blacklist and suggestions for frequently blacklisted tags. However, it isn't something that's going to be loaded into the blacklist by default.

actually it is a free service...for you. you do not pay for membership so it is free for you, meaning you do not pay money to help maintain the site which is why the owner is not obligated to do anything just because you tell him to so Jerl is correct

downvoting the truth does not change the fact that it is the truth and that you are wrong

Jerl, the problem was *never* the tagging system existing.
The issue is that we need to know all the tags we need to remove before we can filter them off. We're not idiots, we suggested a solution since you guys know the tags that affiliate to homosexual activities.
I find it highly disturbing that this place support indirect attacks on individuals that simply give suggestions not to mention the banning of content creators based on others opinions. Very ironic in my book.

Jerl, I also stated this several times in the messages you took your time deleting with the conversation I had with that other dude.

All I'm hearing is, "I'm too lazy to blacklist a few tags of things I don't like, this site should accommodate me because if I even see a hint of something I don't like I am repulsed beyond recognition."

It's very rare for there to be content creators on Gelbooru, and that's by design. I've never seen one be banned based on others' opinions; the ones that have been banned were always banned for violating the site's rules.

Yes, I acknowledge that you suggested a solution. Your solution isn't something we can just pull out of our ass, though; it would require significant changes to the site's backend code, and possibly database schema, which are very unlikely when the actual functionality to block content is already there and works just fine, even if it doesn't block anything by default. The only feasible way to do it is Floater's suggestion. That's about all there is to it. You'll have to make due with the blacklist.
