Depending on how her power works, I think it's actually physically impossible for her to get a tan, regardless of whether or not we can see it. If her skin refracts light that touches it, then maybe she can. But if her skin bends light before it touches her, she's the most pale human alive, and she probably needs to take vitamin D supplements.
