Farfetch'd can learn false swipe, cut, and thief in addition to fly, making it useful for nabbing items and capturing pokemon. It's not competitive, but that doesn't really matter

Farfetch'd also makes an excellent non-killing damage dealer and accuracy reducter in a team specialized in capture & exploration. You can also give it Forsight from a Hoothoot father to make False swipe work on ghosts, although since Gen 5 you have a better option with Soak with another team member
