Aki, Mika and Mikko are Finnish boys' names. Why are these names given to girls?

Kantele is a traditional Finnish instrument. And the place looks like it could be in Finland. These things make a proof that the artist has somehow thought about Finland's culture, nature and folk. But the names given to the girls are unrealistic.

Well, they sound like cute Japanese girl's names, and judging from the anime, even though they represent Finland, they are probably Japanese as well.

Not everyone use their real names. Hippo team (history team) and Anzio team do not and everyone is Japanese unless otherwise stated.

No idea why Jatkosota team was given male names though.
