I don't think the artist tag is right. Harada is the main artist of Disgaea, but somebody else designed the "sexy" characters in the first game, right?

No, I'm pretty sure all of the monsters (except the Prinnies) in the first game (and I think maybe Jennifer too) were designed by Ryoji. You can see his signature on all the concept art sheets for the monsters, and his art style is distinctly different from Harada's.

Yeah, this isn't Harada's work. Harada wasn't the sole artist for the first Disgaea game. The monster classes, I think the human characters, and maaaaaaaybe? Vulcanus and Lamington were designed by Ryoji.
