About damn time. And I guess they're putting it on youtube to test the waters. Because while many of the older fans are sick and tired of Ash the show DOES have to cater to the younger demographic who may or may not like him.

^why not? red is just featured in 4 short anime,each only lasts 20 minutes. if anything he still lacking red. and this anime isn't all about red.
if you can survive ash for 20 years,red for only 18 short episode is no challenge.

I'm still hoping that we will one day get a full anime adaptation of the manga with all the characters each with their own story arcs and not focused on a single character going through every region.

Anon5: nah, they'd rather keep the manga continuity being the manga continuity.
What i hope for is a full anime adaptations of the game, following the events of each games with it's characters.
