How is that a problem? Fire Pokemon are weak to Water moves, doesn't mean they're weak to water itself. A Fire Pokemon doesn't take damage from Rain, does it? They can even be healed with water with a Baton Passed Aqua Ring.

For the most part, Anon, but this is Charmander. If the flame on it's tail ever goes out, it dies.
