I know movies like this can go HORRIBLY wrong for example the Avatar the last Airbender movie that being said I do think this movie may be successful. It does little a bit interesting but I will hold off till I see more. Maybe until another trailer comes out.

If it comes across as a good kung-fu action movie I think it'll be fine. As long as it doesn't try to get too deep considering it's only a movie and probably wouldn't have much time to flesh itself out.

Nothing is as bad as Dragonball Evolution. Hollywood made i Robot, The Matrix, Bladerunner, and 5th Element. This should be a cakewalk. Hollywood is good at cyberpunk fantasy films. It will be very hard for them to mess this up. Stick to the source material and have a damned good script. I feel like Ghost in the Shell influenced many of the films I listed.
