The thing is however that Saitama did train, he trained for...2 or 3 years I believe. But, his training was so mundane and every day that no believes him.

To add another thing, Saitama's full power hasn't been revealed while most characters have been. It's almost asinine to compare Goku to Saitama. The only Equivalent is like comparing any Gundam -- or any mecha -- to Gurren Lagaan.
