I mean they may still make this happen. Both Ren and Qrow got hit by Tyrian when his eye color changed to a purple from it's usual yellow. Which leads a lot of people to believe it has some poison elements.
But who knows.

I know I'll probably get some hate for this. I love Qrow, but he is a character that should die for the sake of the drama and the story. Also to help with Ruby's character development. They did an excellent job of showing her mental state at the end of season 4, but I suspect she'll probably get another mental push and activate her silver eyes once again. I suspect if and when her uncle (father?) dies.

At the same time, I want to see him fight more because his fighting style is so varied and interesting. He is ambidextrous and easily switches between gun/sword/scythe. I also want more answers to *who* Qrow actually is, as a person. I suspect Tyrian might find a way to get a new 'tail' and come back for vengeance against Qrow and Ruby. But mostly, I want to see where they take his story.
