There's another thing that leads credence to it being Twilight Princess era, the Master Sword and the woods where its located. As you recall, the Master Sword was left embedded in Ganondorf's head at the end of Wind Waker, deep below the waves where no one can get to it, making it impossible to be retrieved.
As for the 'Rito', that could be a unrelated new species. If Zoras are in the game, there wouldn't be any Rito as they only came about because of the sealing of Hyrule under the waves.
The Koroks prove nothing as well as they could be simple forest sprites unrelated to the Wind Waker Koroks.
