A bit off-topic, but I've always wondered if the jaws on Mawile's head actually have a tongue. They're supposed to be evolved horns, but there have been not-so-subtle hints that Mawile can use them to eat. I've only ever seen them in-game as just being jaws without a tongue.

Personally I think that the jaws on Mawile's head can be used to chew, but I don't think the maw is meant to swallow. It's probably there to help pulp up prey that would otherwise be too big or tough for Mawhile to eat with its normal mouth.

^ That's what I thought too. I remember in Pokepark a Mawile chewed through a steel rail, while in Pokepark 2 a Mawile claims to like gems because they are "chewy".
Besides, thinking about it, it seems hard to believe that a second throat goes from those jaws through Mawile's head, but I guess we've seen weirder things in Pokemon.
