Pretty much all pornographic material made in Japan is subjected to Japanese pornographic laws, and one of these laws is the very antiquated law that the distribution of obscene imagery is illegal and punishable. Naturally, producers of fine sexual media found a loophole. The loophole in this was that the very specific definition of obscene in the law (any depiction of genitals) meant that in order for your obscene porn to be okay all you had to do was censor the genitalia. These days, with the internet, uncensored porn is becoming more common but it is still rare.
So yeah.

I've read conflicting laws, one was saying you have to censor pubic hair, and another any reproductive organs. Does anyone have a link directly to the law that mandates pornography be censored?

It seems that in the early days pubic hair was considered obscene and thereby censored, but in the 80s the enforcement of the law was relaxed and pubic hair was allowed as long as the genitals themselves remained censored.

wow it's only obvious that this style of censoring the entire genitaliac region is bad because theres a great artist and a beautiful woman and no one is talking about either.With this being the case I think the artist needs to republish some better cencored work.cause honestly it looks like someone else just blatantly blurred it out with cheap editing software.
