Upon the moment of her death, it's like all the ugliness and cruelty deep inside her manifested itself in her face. I didn't feel as bad for her and Issei here as I did in the manga. I'm not sure if we're suppose to feel and remorse for her but if she were to have a lasting impact on Issei than I think the manga maybe handled her death better.

Thanks to her, Issei is now haunted of him being afraid of getting too close to his harem without getting hurt himself.

To be really honest, Issei has more plot armour than actual armour. Raynare could have torched his body the first time around or have done her little ritual away from two houses of devils. She also could have simply followed her damn orders in the first place.
