No, no no, the tagger has it all wrong. This is no Fallschirmjager, you can tell by the blue tunic and helmet that it's a member of the Luftwaffe Field Divisions, units which famously were undertrained, underequipped and poorly-led, and were completely demolished on the Eastern Front.
