Exhentai requires you to have a E-hentai account in order to even officially access the site. But you will have to surrender your email address to E-hentai though.

Exhentai and e-hentai are basically the same websites, you'll use your e-hentai account to sign in there and you'll notice the format is pretty much identical. I think the difference is that Exhentai seems to have more content available there, I don't know if e-hentai has more guidelines that rejects certain posts, but if you search for a tag, for example femdom, you'll see Exhentai has nearly double the pages so I always use that.

The difference between the two is that with Exhentai, loli, shota, toddlercon and some more extreme content is allowed mainly because the site doesn't have to deal with ad providers, and as a result the site is ad free.
