anon 1, its not the card seto is into, it is the girl who was the original owner of it. in the manga, the blue eyes white dragon was the soul of a girl who the original seto kaiba fell in love with, but because he couldn't save her life, he desides to make her soul his personal monster, it would be easier to read the manga better than my explanation
